Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles.
• Experience in construction and project management is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Proven experience in project planning, design, and execution.
• Willingness to travel or be stationed at project sites.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and safety regulations (CIDB, OSHA).
• Knowledge of contract administration and project documentation is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing project scope, schedules and budgets from conception to completion
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including consultants, contractors and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution
• Prepare and review technical documents such as drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance
• Support procurement processes including material selection and technical evaluation
• Attend site meetings and prepare progress documentation to resolve technical and coordination issues
• Monitor project progress and report on KPIs including cost, time and quality
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, building codes, and safety regulations
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and delays
