Job summary

Our client is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves developing and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, or Mechatronic engineering or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of project engineering or similar experience; construction/engineering industry preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia language proficiency.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively and effectively.
• Monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are kept.
• Provide technical problem-solving support for project-related issues.
• Prepare reports and documentation on project status, challenges, and successes.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities and documentation.
