As Program Manager of the Global Sustainability Operations Team, you will oversee and plan all sustainability programs. You will report on these programs to support Micron’s Sustainability goals. You will lead programs and sub-programs that grow organizational efficiency and develop execution plans, including Network coordination.
Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to:
- Define and develop the roadmap for short term execution to collaborate on producing long-term Sustainability strategy.
- Deep dive into emergent strategies that can support the immediate needs on execution for energy programs.
- Integrate ISO50K enterprise certification and its best-known method into indirect/direct emissions execution and strategy.
- Monitor, measure, and report the Sustainability Performance against Forecast across the network through regular reports. Work with the data visibility team to improve data forecast and reporting continuously.
- Oversee projects and their sustainability effectiveness, cost savings opportunity against sustainability benefits, performing benchmarking across network projects.
- Lead the network effort across 4 environmental sustainability pillars and drive towards best in class.
- Ensure data integrity on reporting through data governance.
- Partner with external vendors to ensure understanding and implementation of energy efficiency initiatives.
- Establish structure and manage program dependencies, prioritize programs, track program achievements and deliverables.
- Ensure clarity in goals, clear sense of scopes and responsibilities ownership down to working levels.
- Identify potential roadblocks early and develop resolution plans.
- Facilitate regular meetings with key collaborators and effectively manage meeting structure to ensure achievement of required outcomes.
- Manage key partners and incorporate feedback for ongoing refinement of overall program management.
- Coordinate issues related to customer and partner concerns and drive resolution to meet operational objectives.
Setup Channels to Drive Critical Communication and Collaboration
- Build close communication among Environmental Sustainability leadership, collaborators and team members.
- Act as a point of contact between leadership and program teams and other collaborators to ensure effective communication of expectations and directions.
- Manage communication on critical projects and activities and be prepared to share status of any underperforming project or activity, along with actions required to resolve performance problems.
- Actively engage with network program owners to share best-known practices.
- Provide regular and structured communication to all team members.
- Ensure team members are well-engaged and motivated to achieve corporate Environmental Sustainability objectives.
- Maintain a strong and open relationship with team members in other functional areas.
- Develop and grow relationships with key suppliers, developers, regulators, and other collaborators.
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, sustainability, or a field related to corporate responsibility.
Desired: Certification in Engineering, Sustainability, or a related area of study.
Experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in Facilities Engineering and/or process/manufacturing environment.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and collaborating with all internal and external collaborators and consultants.
- Attention to detail combined with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities, ensuring clear and sound communication effectively to network.
- Capable of compiling executive level reports and presentation materials.
- Proficient with SAP, Ariba, Power Bii, Microsoft Office include PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
- Program and Project management experience.
- Strong drive to integrate current work with AI.
Travel
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed (10% at times).
