Job summary

TradeBeyond is seeking a Senior Consultant, Professional Services to join our delivery team in Malaysia. You will own the Experience & Configuration track, mapping user journeys, building UI/UX sandbox prototypes, and configuring platform modules to align with UAT outcomes.

You will work within a Strategic Delivery Pod to ensure solutions are technically viable and easy for end users to adopt, while translating field observations into actionable product feedback for our Product and Engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• 3–4 years' experience in senior product design, UX design, enterprise SaaS configuration, business analysis, or software implementation.
• Proven ability to design and configure complex business workflows across multiple modules.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, user adoption, workflow simplification, and enterprise process design.
• Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code configuration, custom views, validation rules, user profiles, permissions, or workflow logic.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into user journeys, prototypes, configuration maps, and functional design outputs.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and configuration of complex cross-module workflows on the TradeBeyond platform.
• Translate customer business processes/requirements into user journeys, configuration maps, sandbox prototypes, and production-ready functional designs.
• Configure advanced workflow logic, custom views, validation rules, user profiles, module settings, and business process behavior.
• Identify user friction and adoption blockers, then reengineer configuration maps and user experiences to improve usability.
• Partner with peers, product and engineering teams to ensure designs are business-relevant, technically feasible, and delivery-ready.
• Support UAT by helping customers validate usability, process fit, and functional completeness.
• Capture field feedback, configuration limitations, product gaps, and recurring usability issues from customer engagements.
• Collaborate with internal Product and Engineering teams to turn customer insights into product innovation and better user experience.
• Create reusable design patterns, configuration templates, and workflow blueprints to accelerate future implementations.
• Mentor junior team members and promote strong configuration, usability, and design standards across delivery projects.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Consultant, Professional Services to join our Professional Services delivery team and help turn customer business workflows into intuitive, adoption-ready software experiences on the TradeBeyond platform. In this role, you will own the Experience & Configuration track: mapping user journeys, creating UI/UX sandbox prototypes, configuring platform modules, defining validation logic, and aligning solutions with UAT outcomes.

You will work as part of a Strategic Delivery Pod along with other Professional Services peers to ensure each solution is not only technically viable, but also easy for end users to adopt. Your success will be measured by feature adoption, configuration quality, and your ability to reduce user friction through practical, scalable product design.

In addition, the Senior Consultant, Professional Services will act as an important feedback bridge between customers, Professional Services peers, and the internal Product and Engineering teams. By capturing field observations, user friction points, configuration limitations, and adoption patterns from live customer engagements, this role will help translate practical delivery experience into actionable product feedback. The Senior Consultant, Professional Services will collaborate with internal teams to influence product innovation, improve usability, strengthen platform configuration capabilities, and continuously enhance the end-user experience across the TradeBeyond platform.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines
• 3 to 4 years' experience in senior product design, UX design, enterprise SaaS configuration, business analysis, or software implementation (Candidates with less experience or fresh graduates will also be considered for the Consultant, Professional Services role).
• Proven ability to design and configure complex business workflows across multiple system modules.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, user adoption, workflow simplification, and enterprise process design.
• Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code configuration, custom views, validation rules, user profiles, permissions, or workflow logic.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into user journeys, prototypes, configuration maps, and functional design outputs.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with Product and Engineering teams to share field feedback and influence product improvements.
• Working knowledge of Java programming would be an advantage, particularly when collaborating with Engineering teams on product behavior, configuration logic, and user experience improvements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Experience in retail, sourcing, supply chain, PLM, procurement, or enterprise workflow platforms is preferred.
• Self-motivated character with can-do attitude and proven multi-tasking ability to meet critical deadlines.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Agile delivery, design tools, workflow mapping tools, or UAT processes is an advantage.
• Eligible to work in Malaysia without sponsorship.
