Job summary

Celestica Production is seeking a skilled Production Technical Operator 4 in Kulim, Malaysia. The role requires performing manual assembly, operating automated equipment, and handling hand soldering with attention to quality and process flow.

You will set up machines, run lines, and contribute to first-line maintenance while coordinating with the team to meet production targets and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Specific site operation certifications required.
• In-depth knowledge of board assembly and product process flow.
• Soldering specifications and SMT processing systems knowledge.
• Ability to set up, calibrate and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment.
• Ability to recognize problems in the assembly process and address them.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers.
• Ability to lead a team to high-quality production within tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of test fixturing and PC applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual assembly, operation of automated assembly equipment, hand soldering, testing and inspection.
• Set up machines and lines, perform feeder repairs and first-line preventative maintenance.
