Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess site/area certifications as defined by site operations.
• Knowledge of board assembly process and product flow.
• Understanding of product quality, soldering specs and SMT processing systems.
• Ability to set up, operate, and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment.
• Ability to recognize problems in the assembly process or components and address them.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• Ability to lead the team to high quality production within tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Word, Lotus Notes, Excel and Documentation control systems.

Responsibilities

• Acts as lead and problem solver, balancing personnel and moving products through the area.
• Monitors performance and contribution of cell members.
• Performs assembly tasks, automated equipment operation, hand soldering, testing and inspection.
• Leads production or prototype team to meet goals and generates cell performance reports.
• Maintains foundation skills and leadership capabilities.
