Job summary

Celestica Malaysia Penang location seeks an experienced Production Operator to perform manual assembly, hand soldering, and operate automated equipment. You will contribute to production quality and efficiency in a demanding manufacturing environment, supporting calibration and maintenance of gear on the line.

The role requires strong problem-solving, good communication, and the ability to guide teammates to meet tight deadlines while maintaining safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and additional courses after high school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Four to five years of relevant experience.
• Must possess specific certifications as defined by site operations.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual assembly, operation of automated assembly equipment, hand soldering, inspection and repair of products.
• Set up, operate, calibrate and maintain assembly and hand soldering equipment and tools.
• Identify problems in the assembly process or with components and address them.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers and lead the team to high quality production under tight deadlines.
