Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Senior Production Planner to manage production schedules and material workflows in a high-tech manufacturing context.

You will review planning systems, release orders, and assess capacity, workforce, and materials to meet customer demand while driving continuous improvement and on-time delivery. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams across the shop floor and aims to optimize stock levels and process efficiency.

Qualifications

Experience planning, scheduling, and capacity management in a manufacturing environment.
Applied experience with tier-1 ERP systems and production planning software tools.
Ability to analyze shop-floor metrics, inventory balances, and material movement trends.
Background implementing continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.

Responsibilities

Review enterprise planning systems to align production schedules with changing customer demand.
Create and release production orders while evaluating machine capacity, workforce, and material availability.
Conduct root-cause analysis on delivery delays to drive operational performance improvements.
Monitor shop-floor inventory levels to optimize stock balance and reduce excess holding.
Partner with cross-functional operational units to maintain schedule adherence and quality standards.
