Job summary

Randstad Malaysia seeks a Senior Production Planner to manage master production schedules and material requirements for climate control equipment assembly lines in Malaysia.

You will sequence operational orders to optimize machine utilization, analyze material needs, and coordinate with engineering, warehouse, quality, and procurement to maintain smooth daily output. This role requires strong planning, ERP and BOM familiarity, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Experience in production scheduling and inventory control in discrete manufacturing (3–5 years).
• Proficient with ERP systems and numerical spreadsheets.
• Familiar with BOM, material requirements logic, and routing workflows.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail in fast-paced environments.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, industrial or mechanical engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute master production schedules for climate control equipment assembly lines.
• Sequence orders to optimize machine utilization and balance line capacity.
• Perform material requirement analysis to prevent shortages.
• Partner with engineering to verify component specs and routing docs.
• Coordinate with warehouse, quality, and procurement to streamline daily output.
