Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a Production Planner to optimize master production schedules and material requirements, ensuring smooth operational output.

You will assess schedule feasibility, track material deliveries, monitor timelines, coordinate dispatches and procurement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve schedule exceptions and ensure timely delivery.

Fresh grads or up to 3 years of experience are welcome; a Bachelor Degree in related fields is required.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or up to 3 years of experience in production planning or manufacturing operations.
• Practical understanding of material requirements planning, inventory control, and production scheduling.
• Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning applications and standard spreadsheet tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate effectively with internal operational teams. (Able to communicate in Mandarin will be a plus)

Responsibilities

• Assess feasibility of master production schedules and establish shop-floor task priorities.
• Track supplier material deliveries and internal component picking to identify material shortages early.
• Monitor production execution timelines and adjust master plans to address operational delays.
• Coordinate self-made dispatch procedures and material procurement requests according to operational demands.
• Partner with cross-functional manufacturing units to resolve schedule exceptions and ensure timely delivery.
