We are seeking an Assistant Manager Production Planner at our Chemor, Perak facility on a full-time basis to optimize the supply chain, coordinate logistics, and drive operational excellence. This role reports to management and oversees warehouse, inventory, and distribution functions. You will lead warehouse staff, implement lean initiatives, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain management, warehousing or logistics operations.
• Experience in inventory management and distribution operations.
• Familiarity with WMS and inventory software.
• Strong organizational, analytical and detail-oriented skills.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams and coordinate stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and SOP adherence.
• Oversee inventory management including stock levels, tracking, reconciliation.
• Coordinate distribution activities and ensure timely delivery.
• Manage and supervise warehouse staff with training and performance guidance.
• Implement process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain records and prepare supply chain reports for senior management.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental regulations within the facility.
• Analyze supply chain metrics to identify areas for enhancement.
