Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks an experienced manufacturing leader to supervise a production team, drive quality, and improve cost efficiency across the plant. You will coordinate staff and equipment to meet KPI targets while implementing new processes and upgrades.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing management or engineering, with at least 10 years in manufacturing and 5 years in capacity planning, plus strong process control and problem-solving skills. Safety and 5S are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing management or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in manufacturing with 5 years in capacity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities for the manufacturing team to support plant quality and cost improvement goals and opportunities.
• Commission new equipment or production units or new processes, monitor upgrades, and troubleshoot existing processes.
• Lead manufacturing planning for development and implementation of the production line with related departments.
• Monitor process performance indices and establish controls to maintain performance.
• Oversee and ensure improvements in quality indices on qualified processes.
• Ensure all aspects of an operation meet specific requirements.
• Drive productivity through process changes, documents, specifications, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with engineers and production executives to improve machine efficiency, optimize the process, and implement yield improvement and cost reduction programs.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S in the production area.
• Follow ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and other regulatory compliance matters.
• Determine best use of resources to meet production goals and build production schedules.
• Monitor progress from raw materials to delivery; meet KPIs and ensure cost-effective timely delivery.
• Develop new cost-effective ways to improve quality and productivity.
