Randstad Malaysia is seeking a skilled Production Planner to manage shop-floor schedules, lead times, and capacity to meet production targets. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, purchasing, and QA to ensure on-time delivery and optimal WIP control.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years in production planning within precision engineering or metal fabrication, and strong knowledge of cycle times, capacity planning, and ERP systems. Bachelor degree holders are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in production planning or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in precision engineering/CNC metal fabrication environments.
• Knowledge of cycle times, capacity planning, and WIP control.
• Experience with ERP systems and quality management standards.

Responsabilités

• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing schedules aligned with capacity and delivery timelines.
• Evaluate machine loading, cycle times, and workforce availability to minimize production bottlenecks.
• Maintain tight control over work-in-progress inventory levels from raw material release through final quality inspection.
• Partner with cross-functional units including engineering, purchasing, and quality assurance to resolve schedule disruptions.
• Utilize enterprise planning tools and quality management systems to monitor adherence to targets.
