Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors Malaysia is seeking a capable engineer to coordinate project activities in the assembly and integration phase of R&D projects. You will set up and manage projects and align targets with teams.

You will lead a team of Process Development Engineers and Support Technicians, plan workloads to maximise productivity and cost efficiency, and provide processes and technical support across production, marketing, and sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronics/mechanical engineering or chemical, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience for senior position in related field.
• Experience in LED/semiconductor assembly, R&D or NPI preferred.
• Knowledge of 6 Sigma, process control and qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all project activities and operations in assembly/ integration for R&D projects.
• Set up and manage projects with targets and monitor results.
• Lead a team of process development engineers and support technicians to move from development to mass production.
