Job summary

Synbone in Malaysia is seeking a Mechanical/Systems Engineer to lead product development, manage development schedules and coordinate with production and customer services.

You will design and develop medical education trainers, bone models, and holder systems using multiple 3D tools, scanners and printers, collaborating with technicians to meet requirements. Travel for training and project lead duties may be required; strong Bahasa Malaysia and English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor of Mechanical/System Engineering or similar relevant fields of study.
• 3+ years of experience in Product Development/Management.
• 3+ years of experience with 3D design software.
• Experience in production moulds for polyurethane is an added advantage.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia & English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage product development schedules and follow up.
• Design and develop medical education task trainers, bone models and related fixtures.
• Coordinate with technicians and engineers to meet product requirements.
• Contribute and advance design ideas for outstanding products.
• Be involved in project meetings and project requirements definitions.
