Job summary

ADI Resourcing in Malaysia is seeking a qualified electronics engineer to provide technical support, perform data analysis, and manage product transfers from NPI to mass production. The role covers testing, documentation, and collaboration with R&D for new test processes.

The ideal candidate has a Master or Bachelor's in Electronics/Mechatronics or Physics and at least five years of experience in product/test or production transfers, with strong BOM and quality tools, schematics interpretation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics or Physics is required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in product, test or transfers to production.
• Experience with NPI qualifications and transfers is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of BOM maintenance and quality tools.
• Able to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and data analysis on product issues and improvements.
• Handle product transfers from NPI to mass production lifecycle.
• Prepare engineering documentation and implement revision changes.
• Support pilot manufacturing lines for assembly, testing and evaluation.
• Collaborate with R&D to design and implement new test processes.
• Develop and maintain debug guides and troubleshoot product/test equipment.
• Drive cost reduction, yield improvement, and quality improvements.
• Initiate ECOs, BOM changes, test processes, and specification updates.
• Analyze data on product performance and quality.
• Engage with customers, sales, and marketing during qualification cycles.

Job description

• Toprovide technical support and data analysis on product relatedissues and product improvements (Cost and Yield).
• Handlesnew transceiver product transfers from NPI to mass volume productionlifecycle.
• Preparesproduct engineering documentation and engineering related changeswith related revision change.
• Supportspilot manufacturing line in the assembly, testing and evaluation ofnew products.
• Collaborateswith R&D team and participate in the design, qualification, andimplementation of new test processes.
• Developsand maintains a systematic debug guide documentation for responsibleproducts.
• Acquireshands-on technical knowledge on products and test methodology aswell as applications transferred from R&D.
• Independentlycomplete the new product manufacturing process and inspectiontechnical document output
• Summarizetypical scenarios and validation schemes of new product NPItrial-production, and form NPI validation baseline.
• Drivesefforts in product re-engineering, cost reduction, yieldimprovement, quality and reliability improvement.
• Supportsand initiates ECOs, BOM changes, test processes, procedures andspecification modifications.
• Conductsdata analysis and statistics pertaining to product performance andquality improvements.
• Engagecustomers, sales, and marketing with customer qualification cycle.
• Providestechnical support and analysis on product related issues and RMA.
• Performingany other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time totime.

JOBREQUIREMENTS:

• Master/Bachelorsdegree in Electronics/Electrical, Communications, Mechatronics orApplied Science in Physics
• Minimum5 years working experience in product, test or product transfersinto Production domain with major in mechanical manufacturing/electronic engineering related or material.
• Candidateswithout appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring managersubject to job nature, availability of buddy, duration of learning,etc
• Goodknowledge in BOM maintenance, statistical quality tools and problemanalysis
• Understandbasic test methodologies and able to interpret/read electricalschematics and mechanical drawings
• Strongtechnical knowledge and ability to trouble shoot product and testequipment issues and initiatives to drive performance goals.
• Experienceon New Product (NPI) qualifications and transfer is an advantage.
• Experienceworking in PCBA, Semiconductor devices, IC fabrication manufacturingenvironment and Product Testing.
