Job summary

ADI Resourcing invites applications for a Senior MOL Process Engineer in Malaysia. You will establish process capability and capacity/productivity models, define and characterize the designated process, and ensure controls meet product specs and BOM requirements.

You will apply lean manufacturing to eliminate waste, drive yield improvements, conduct gage R&R and correlation studies, and support operator training while upholding ISO standards and continuous improvement principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Science/Engineering with preferred majors.
• Strong data analytics and SPC understanding.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of quality tools and process capability concepts.

Responsibilities

About the job SENIOR MOL PROCESS ENGINEER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establish theprocess capability and the capacity/productivity model.
• Able to fullydefine and characterize the designated process
• Define the PCPand improving critical process capability (as defined in the processcontrol plan, product drawings/ specification and BOM)
• Fullyunderstand the necessary controls, equipment, precautions, setupparameters to meet the product specifications.
• Apply leanmanufacturing principles to eliminate waste in the productionprocess, and implement yield improvement projects.
• Responsible forthe process yields of the designated process. Responsible toestablish and implement all appropriate actions to improve the yields.
• Responsible toconduct gage repeatability & reliability studies, correlationstudies as well as actions to improve both these capabilities.Generate reaction plans for OOC situations
• Assist themanufacturing personnel in operator training, qualification andimproving operator utilization and productivity as well as inventoryreduction
• Communicationskill to communicate and interface well with peers, enhance teamwork

• Performing anyother duties as directed by the immediate superior from time totime.

JOBREQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor orMaster of Science/ Engineering preferably majoring in Electronics,Photonics, Mechanical or Mechatronics.
• Preferablymajored in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Mechatronicsor Mechanical.
• Minimum 5 yearsof experience in related industry and in mass productionenvironment. Experience working in a fiber optic transceivermanufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
• Good computerliteracy especially in SPC related applications.
• Must exhibit astrong sense of data analytical skills with hands on workingattitude.
• Adaptable andflexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
• Good knowledgeof mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yokeprinciples will be an added advantage.
