GST MALAYSIA PLT is seeking a Product Development Executive in Kuala Lumpur to own the full product lifecycle, from concept through launch and post-launch review. The role requires coordinating with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and QA to deliver innovative skincare products with compliant documentation.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience in cosmetics, a track record of successful product launches, and strong leadership and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Marketing, or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in skincare/cosmetics product development.
• Proven track record of launching successful products to market.
• Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• In-depth knowledge of beauty industry regulations and product lifecycle management.
• Experience with OEM/ODM and formulation testing.

Responsabilités

• Lead full product lifecycle from concept to post-launch review.
• Analyze market trends, benchmarking, and consumer insights for new products.
• Collaborate with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and QA to ensure success.
• Partner with OEM/ODM manufacturers for formulations, testing, and production readiness.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (local and international, e.g., NPRA/ASEAN Cosmetic Directive).
• Manage supplier relationships and identify new partners for quality and cost efficiency.
• Stay at the forefront of beauty innovations by attending industry events and proposing ideas.

Responsibilities

• Lead Full Product Lifecycle: Own the full development process of new products, including concept ideation, feasibility studies, formulation, packaging, launch planning, and post-launch performance review.
• Market & Trend Analysis: Identify white space opportunities through deep analysis of market trends, competitor benchmarking, and consumer insights.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams—R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Quality Assurance to ensure timely, cost-effective, and successful product development.
• OEM/ODM Management: Partner with third-party manufacturers to source innovative formulations, review lab samples, conduct stability and safety tests, and finalize production-ready solutions.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products meet local and international regulatory standards (e.g., NPRA, ASEAN Cosmetic Directive), including full documentation, product registration, and claims substantiation.
• Supplier Relations: Evaluate and manage existing suppliers while identifying new partners to enhance product quality, cost-efficiency, and innovation.
• Innovation Leadership: Stay ahead of beauty industry innovations by attending trade shows, ingredient expos, and scientific conferences; propose cutting-edge ideas for new launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Marketing, or anyrelated field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in skincare, cosmetics, or personal care product development.
• Proven track record of launching successful products to market.
• Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• In-depth knowledge of beauty industry regulations and product lifecycle management.
• Experience working with OEM/ODM and understanding formulation testing.
