About the Role

We are seeking an organized and proactive Senior Product Executive to lead product development projects from initial concept through to commercial launch. In this role, you will serve as the primary bridge between clients, R&D, purchasing, and packaging vendors, overseeing project timelines, product costings, and cross-functional execution to ensure customer satisfaction and high-quality market delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and track end-to-end NPD projects from initial customer enquiry through formulation to commercial readiness.
• Monitor project timelines, milestones, outstanding tasks, and approvals to ensure timely completion.
• Identify potential project risks or delays early and coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Act as the central coordination contact between customers, packaging suppliers, R&D, and internal departments.
• Communicate project updates, clarify customer requirements, and follow up on feedback, prototype samples, and commercial approvals.
• Coordinate packaging sourcing, quotations, component specifications, sample customization, and supplier lead times.
• Liaise with packaging suppliers regarding pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), production schedules, and delivery logistics.
• Prepare preliminary and final product costings based on formulation references, packaging components, and manufacturing costs.
• Coordinate closely with R&D, Purchasing, and external suppliers to obtain accurate costing data.
• Prepare quotations for internal review and manage customer feedback, pricing revisions, and approvals.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, costing sheets, packaging master lists, and workflow records in compliance with established NPD processes.
• Prepare regular project status reports and highlight outstanding tasks, risks, and delays to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Business, or a related field (preferably with exposure to personal care or skincare industries).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience within the personal care or skincare industry.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full product development cycles and coordinate directly with key clients.
• Strong organizational, communication, documentation, and follow-up capabilities.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and suppliers.
