Agilent Technologies LDA Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Process Mechanical Engineer to lead advanced manufacturing initiatives, optimize performance, and drive cost efficiency.

The role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership across production lines. You will champion Six Sigma/Lean projects, validation testing, and tooling automation while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in manufacturing engineering within high-tech or precision industries.
• Proven VE leadership with measurable cost savings and product improvements.
• Strong Lean/Six Sigma background and use of statistical tools like Minitab.
• Hands-on equipment troubleshooting, validation, and repair experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and project management skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Proficient in CAD, FEA, and digital engineering simulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute engineering initiatives to optimize manufacturing performance and product quality.
• Drive yield improvements, cost reduction, and line efficiency using data-driven methods.
• Provide technical leadership for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and automation to raise throughput and reduce manual tasks.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians; promote innovation and accountability.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Operations for NPI and scale-up.
• Ensure ISO 9001 and safety/regulatory compliance through audits and controls.
