Job summary

ams OSRAM seeks a Senior Staff Process Integration Engineer to drive introduction of new technologies into production and to bridge unit process development, wafer/ chip development and factory process engineering. You will own control plans, improve yields, and lead cross-functional teams through root-cause analysis and change management.

The role requires a Master’s or PhD in Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science with at least 5 years in semiconductor or LED fabrication, and strong English

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or PhD in Physics, Chemistry or Material Sciences.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills are essential.
  • Fluent English required; effective communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Introduce new technologies into production, bridging development and factory engineering.
  • Ensure robust process development and manufacturability for mass production.
  • Understand tool capabilities and influence tool roadmap for future tech.
  • Identify and monitor critical parameters; update control plans for ramp-up.
  • Own and manage technology transfers between sites, with change management.
  • Improve yields and reduce costs through robust processes and collaboration with QA/production.
  • Lead root-cause analysis for process issues with cross-functional teams.
  • Own process deliverables (FMEA, Control Plan) from freeze onward.
