Job summary

Micron Technology Malaysia seeks a Senior Process Gas Engineer to lead the delivery of bulk and specialty gas systems, scrubbers, and related utilities in a semiconductor setting. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time project execution on site in Penang.

You will coordinate with A&E consultants, contractors, internal teams and regulators through design, tender, construction, testing and handover, while maintaining essential documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong project management and contractor coordination capabilities.
• Experience in semiconductor, greenfield, brownfield, construction or facilities projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution for gas, chemical delivery, and scrubber systems at site.
• Coordinate with A&E consultants, contractors, and internal users through concept to handover.
• Review drawings, method statements, and testing records to ensure compliance and safety.
• Manage documentation including as-built drawings, operation manuals and handover packages.
• Support audits and continuous improvement across gas and chemical systems.
