Job summary

INTERNATIONAL FACILITY ENGINEERING (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a senior Gas Engineer to design, tender, and monitor installation of bulk and specialty gas systems for semiconductor, electronics, biopharma, and related industries in Malaysia.

You will prepare capacity-based designs, including P&IDs, PFDs, layouts, and tender documents, while reviewing contractor proposals and supporting installation. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams and CAD/BIM designers to deliver projects,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.
Experience designing high-purity and specialty gases/systems for semiconductor or related facilities.
Ability to interpret URS and design schematics, PFDs, P&IDs, routing layouts and specs.
Experience in chemical system design is a definite advantage.
Familiarity with Semi and Singapore standards, and CAD/BIM tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, tender, and monitor installation of bulk and specialty gas systems for industrial properties.
Collate client capacity requirements and prepare conceptual designs and detailed tender documents.
Review contractor proposals and support during installation as required.
Collaborate with architects, civil, cleanroom, electrical, automation, mechanical, and CAD/BIM designers.
Present designs to clients and engineers; travel/relocate as needed.
