Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Senior Process Gas Engineer in Malaysia to lead the safe, timely delivery of gas and chemical systems for flagship semiconductor projects. You will manage scope, schedule, cost, and safety while coordinating with external and internal teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with semiconductor experience.
6+ years of experience in process gas systems, construction, or facilities in a semiconductor environment.
Experience in project management, contractor coordination, and safety/compliance.
Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/45001 and risk assessment tools is a plus.
Proficient in design reviews, drawings, specs, and technical submittals.

Responsibilities

Lead process gas, bulk gas, and chemical delivery projects with safety and quality at the forefront.
Coordinate with A&E consultants, contractors, and internal teams across project phases.
Monitor scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety; flag risks with mitigation actions.
Perform site inspections, walkdowns, testing, and handover documentation.
Oversee design reviews, shutdowns, modifications, and commissioning activities.
Ensure documentation, as-builts, and manuals are completed before close-out.
