Job summary

Micron Technology in Malaysia seeks a Senior Process Water Engineer to lead advanced water treatment projects (RODI, WWTP, water reclaim, scrubbers) and ensure safe, high-quality construction. You will define project scope and supervise site activities, coordinating with manufacturing, EHS, and regulatory bodies.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in semiconductors, a relevant engineering degree, and strong project-management skills, with proficiency in AutoCAD, PPT, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics with 5+ years in semiconductors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to multi-task and balance priorities.
• Proficient in PPT, Excel and presentation skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate projects to ensure timely, safe, and quality execution at site.
• Monitor scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety with mitigation actions.
• Conduct regular site inspections, progress reviews, and testing.
• Provide technical input during design, tender, construction, and handover.
• Coordinate shutdowns, tie-ins, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure documentation, including as-built drawings and manuals, is complete.
• Track non-conformances and close corrective actions.
• Review high-risk activities and risk mitigation plans.
• Support audits and evidence of compliance.
• Lead reliability improvements and environmental sustainability goals.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, EHS, engineering, and regulatory bodies.
