Job summary

Micron Technology seeks a Senior Process Gas Engineer to lead gas delivery and scrubber system projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and on-time execution on site in Malaysia. You will collaborate with A&E consultants, facilities teams, and external vendors while maintaining comprehensive project records.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical/environmental/chemical engineering with semiconductor experience, excellent communication, and hands-on supervision of plant utilities and gas

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics with semiconductor exposure.
• Professional exposure to process gas, bulk gas and chemical handling preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to coordinate across functions.
• Certified Professional under DOE CePSO is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate process gas, bulk gas, specialty gas, chemical delivery, and scrubber system projects with a focus on safety, quality, and timely completion.
• Coordinate with A&E consultants, contractors, and internal users during concept through handover phases.
• Monitor scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety performance; propose mitigations as needed.
• Inspect sites, review drawings and specifications, and maintain project documentation up to close-out.
• Provide technical input during design reviews, tendering, commissioning, and handover activities.
