Job summary

Knowles Electronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Process Engineer/Senior Process Engineer to develop, sustain, and improve ceramic capacitor manufacturing processes. You will partner with Production, Quality, Product Engineering, and R&D to resolve issues and support new product introductions and process transfers.

The role focuses on process ownership, yield optimization, and adherence to quality systems, with involvement in PFMEA, control plans, and manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering.
• Experience with MLCC production is preferred.
• Familiar with Six Sigma, SPC, DOE, IATF16949, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Own and sustain assigned manufacturing processes to ensure consistent performance and compliance with requirements.
• Provide day-to-day engineering support to production to resolve process, yield, and quality issues.
• Lead yield improvement and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput and cost effectiveness.
• Support NPI and transfer of products from design to manufacturing and assist validation activities.
