Job summary

ams OSRAM is seeking a seasoned Quality/Manufacturing engineer to maintain and advance quality KPIs, drive process control, and manage documentation. You will support audits, lead efficiency initiatives, and coordinate with Product Development and other functions for new LED/semiconductor processes.

The role requires a Bachelor/Master in Engineering or related field with at least 5 years in manufacturing, preferably in LED assembly, and a strong background in SPC, data analytics, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Engineering/Materials/Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing/engineering roles; hands-on LED assembly preferred.
• Experience or knowledge of spray coating is an advantage.
• Understanding of backend semiconductor processes and integration.
• Strong SPC, problem solving (8D) and data analytics skills.
• Clear written and oral communication; knowledge of LEDs/IC value streams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve quality cases, maverick, and yield performance.
• Act as process owner to govern and improve process control and documentation.
• Control direct and indirect material usage, consumption and waste.
• Support internal and customer audits and respond to audit findings.
• Lead productivity improvements and capacity expansion.
• Collaborate with Product Development, PI, PO and BT for new product/process handover.
