Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Engineering, Materials, or Science.
• At least 5 years in manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience in LED assembly or semiconductor processes preferred.
• Knowledge of SPC, 8D, and problem solving.
• Good written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve quality cases, maverick and yield performance.
• Process owner to govern and improve process control and documentation.
• Control direct and indirect material usage and wastage.
• Support internal and customer audits and respond to audit findings.
• Lead productivity improvements and capacity extension.
• Collaborate with Product Development, PI, PO and BT for new setups.

Job description

The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

• Responsible in maintaining and improving quality cases, maverick and yield performance.
• Processs owner to govern and improve process control and documentation.
• Direct and indirect material usage consumption and wastage control.
• To support internal audit & customer audit, and response on audit findings.
• Lead and support productivity improvement and capacity extension.
• To work closely with Product Development, PI, PO and BT for new product/process setup and proper process handshake/pass over.

• Bachelor degree / Master degree in Engineering / Material/Science or equivalent field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing and engineering, preferably with hands-on involvement in LED assembly processes. Experience or knowledge of spray coating will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of semiconductor Backend manufacturing processes integration.
• Self-starter and self-supervising within the expectations of senior management.
• Statistical process control knowledge, problem solving skill, 8D and semiconductor processes.
• Experience in Data Analytical to derive problem and decision making.
• Good in written and oral communication
• Knowledge on overall value stream LEDs or ICs semiconductor production exposure.
