Job summary

Genesis Energies is seeking a Technical Safety Engineer to join our Kuala Lumpur team. You will carry out advisory work on energy projects, performing techno-economic analyses and contributing to energy transition initiatives.

The role requires 8–10 years in project design, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication. You will work in a global consultancy environment, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–10 years project design experience in Concept Identification, Feasibility Study, Concept Selection, Conceptual Engineering or FEED.
• Strong MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform advisory work per project in accordance with Genesis requirements.
• Assist Lead to execute projects and deliverables.
• Act as stand-by lead on projects when necessary.
• Lead small discipline engineering teams or small projects.
• Prepare & check engineering deliverables and Basis for Design.
• Participate in safety, environmental, and design reviews.
• Mentor younger engineers and share knowledge within the team.
