Job summary

Greatech Integration (M) Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Process Engineer with semiconductor/clean-room experience to drive production improvements and ensure robust security-related controls on the floor.

You will lead process and layout enhancements, develop PFMEA and control plans, and train staff on new procedures while liaising with engineering and MIS for design changes. Strong leadership and reporting skills are essential.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
Min 5 years in a clean room environment, preferably semiconductor industry.
Experience managing security personnel, vendors, and contractors.
Familiar with manufacturing facility security and regulatory standards.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of access control, CCTV, alarm systems and security tech.
Excellent incident investigation and report writing skills.
Good planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to handle emergencies calmly and decisively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

Establish build sequence and production workflow.
Create Work Instruction for required processes on the floor.
Assess required jig, fixture and tools.
Create PFMEA, control plan and risk assessment.
Provide inputs to optimize production layout with IE.
Provide solutions and support for quality issues affecting deliveries.
Liaise with engineering, material, PM and MIS on BOM/drawings/design changes.
Enhance processing techniques used in production floor.
Drive new process improvements to reduce cost and increase productivity.
Train production staff on processes and work instructions.
Analyze production data for productivity improvements.
Lead/train Process Engineer levels 1–3 on process engineering and line improvement.
Comply with ISO requirements and safety policies; follow SOPs and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned by superiors.

Job description

1. To establish build sequence and production workflow.

13. To comply with all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere togeneral safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.
14. Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.

Job Requirements:

1.Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics/Manufacturing Engineering field or equivalent years torelated experience.
