Responsibilities

The Team

• As we continue to expand our consulting capabilities, we are seeking a Technology Consultant with strong Program Transformation skills with experiences working in Energy and Utilities to navigate industry disruption, energy transition, and large-scale digital and business transformation.
• The role will involve working closely with clients, having experience in the energy and utilities value chain to shape, govern, and deliver complex transformation programs, will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Advisory

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders (C-suite and business unit leadership) on energy and utilities industry trends, operating models, and transformation strategy
• Engage with clients to understand complex business challenges and translate these into actionable, technology-enabled transformation roadmaps
• Facilitate executive workshops to define program vision, business cases, success metrics, and transformation roadmaps
• Communicate complex technical and commercial concepts clearly to both business and technical audiences

Project & Program Management

• Plan, manage, and execute projects using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
• Define scope, deliverables, timelines, and success metrics
• Track progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure alignment
• Drive end-to-end delivery across transformation programs, ensuring quality and timely execution

Transformation & Delivery Excellence

• Demonstrated senior experience leading large, complex transformation programs end-to-end, from strategy through design, implementation, and benefits realisation
• Define program scope, governance structures, deliverables, timelines, budgets, and success metrics
• Proactively manage program-level risks, issues, dependencies, and change across multiple workstreams
• Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders, technical delivery teams, vendors, and executive sponsors to ensure alignment and accountability
• Drive end-to-end delivery across transformation programs, ensuring quality, timely execution, and realised business value
• Identify improvement opportunities and resolve delivery challenges across program streams

Energy & Utilities Domain Expertise

• 6-7+ years of consulting experience within the Energy & Utilities sector, covering one or more of Electricity, Water, Gas, or Renewables
• Strong working knowledge of core utilities functional domains such as CRM, EAM, FSM, ETRM, SCADA, GIS, Energy Management Systems, AMI/Smart Metering, and Distributed Energy Resources
• Awareness of energy transition trends including renewables integration, electrification, decarbonisation, and emerging technology (e.g. solar, storage, E-mobility, hydrogen)
• Ability to bring industry leading practices and benchmarks to shape client solutions and investment decisions

About You

You are an entrepreneurial and collaborative consultant with a strong mix of technical knowledge, delivery capability, and business acumen, capable of operating in fast-paced, client-facing environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in consulting
• Certifications in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum) are advantageous
