Job summary

Collinz International School in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Primary Teacher (Mathematics & Science) for a full-time role in Bandar Botanic, Selangor. You will teach mathematics and science to upper primary students, plan lessons, assess progress, and foster a love of learning within an inclusive classroom.

You will differentiate instruction to meet diverse abilities, collaborate with colleagues, and engage with parents to support student development.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with recognised teaching qualification or degree in Education/Math/Science.
• Experience in teaching Upper Primary Mathematics and/or Science.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging maths and science lessons aligned with the curriculum and school standards.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment encouraging participation and active learning.
• Assess student progress using formative and summative assessments.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross-curricular approaches and school initiatives.
• Communicate with parents about student progress and concerns.
• Maintain records of attendance, behaviour and achievement.
• Supervise students during breaks and activities as required.
• Support ongoing professional development and stay updated with best practices.
