Job summary

Tunku Putra-HELP School Kuching is seeking a Specialist Teacher for Mathematics and Add Maths. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons, adapt to diverse levels, and use our learning platforms to support student progress.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in education or relevant subject area with recognized teaching qualification.
Minimum 3 years of teaching experience desirable.
Ability to teach across primary and secondary levels and range of abilities.
High level proficiency in spoken and written English.
Experience with international curricula (e.g., English NC, IB, Cambridge) desirable.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated teaching with clear learning intentions.
Personalize learning using knowledge of students and local/global context.
Maintain and develop schemes of learning aligned to school aims.
Use innovative teaching strategies and learning platforms.
Set meaningful homework and manage classroom behaviour per policy.
Safeguard students and liaise with Learning Support as needed.
Provide ongoing formative assessment and timely feedback to students.
Contribute to professional learning and school activities.
