Phili-Orient Logistics (PG) Sdn Bhd (Phili-Orient Group) seeks an experienced Pricing Lead to head the Pricing team in Malaysia's freight forwarding sector. You will oversee pricing operations for Air & Sea, analyze market trends, and develop strategies to improve quotation competitiveness and profitability.

You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and overseas agents to support pricing and ensure smooth operations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics with pricing exposure.
• Proven track record in leading teams and monitoring performance.
• Strong knowledge of airfreight, seafreight, Incoterms, and forwarding processes.
• Excellent analytical, commercial, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel; Power BI and SQL are pluses.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and handle pressure.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Malay.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and motivate the Pricing team to meet targets and KPIs.
• Allocate workloads, monitor performance, review quotations, and handle complex pricing enquiries.
• Monitor quotation turnaround time, strike rate, margins, and productivity.
• Prepare performance reports and identify improvement opportunities for Management.
• Analyse freight rates, market trends, capacity, trade lanes, and demand to support competitive pricing.
• Support rate negotiations with carriers and overseas agents to improve profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Carrier Management for pricing support.
• Drive pricing initiatives and process improvements to increase quotation conversion.
