Job summary

Gamuda Berhad is seeking a Senior Engineer for Precasting & Launching to assist in the design, analysis and implementation of civil and structural projects while delivering on time, cost and quality targets under senior guidance.

You will review designs, shop drawings, and technical reports, participate in site visits, manage risks, and coordinate with internal teams to secure approvals and ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field.
• Preferably 2 to 5 years of experience in large scale civil and structural engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design, analysis and evaluation of civil and structural engineering projects.
• Prepare and review engineering design, shop drawings, method statements, specifications and technical reports.
• Ensure all projects comply with applicable codes, standards and regulations.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure construction quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare and present technical proposals, reports and presentations.
• Assist in preparing reports or analyses for Construction Managers or Project Managers as required.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies and best practices to apply innovative solutions.
