Job summary

Kaifa Technology in Malaysia is seeking a Production Planning professional to coordinate production schedules and ensure on-time delivery. You will review orders, analyze capacity, allocate manpower, balance production, and monitor progress to resolve issues and meet targets.

Key responsibilities include inventory control, reducing backlog, driving lean initiatives, and supporting customers with high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities

• 1. Participate in order review, evaluate and reply to delivery date based on man, machine, material, method and environment
• 2. Capacity analysis and 13-week plan formulation
• 3. Integrate production orders, manpower needs, reasonable arrangement, and balance Production
• 4. Control the inventory in progress, reduce the inventory amount, and reduce the backlog of goods
• 5. Follow up the production progress, coordinate and deal with abnormal problems to ensure that the output is achieved
• 6. Prepare the achievement rate of the plan, analyze the reasons for the non-achievement, and promote continuous improvement of the responsible department
• 7. Promote lean production and reduce the cost per piece
• 8. Lead the annual BU inventory count activity
• 9. To provide excellent customer service to all clients and to help build good relationships with them through the production of high quality and by acting in a professional manner
• 10. Collaborate with stakeholders as the Production Planning liaison, ensuring timely and effective day-to-day communication in areas such as production/planning priorities, material suppl problem-solving resolution and escalations, as required.
