Job summary

B-Global Tech is seeking an experienced Power Systems Engineer to join our engineering team in Malaysia. You will develop and validate ETAP models and perform detailed studies for large-scale data centres and mission-critical projects.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on ETAP expertise and a solid understanding of power system analysis principles, able to interpret results and provide technical recommendations to the design team. Strong communication and report-writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on ETAP experience is mandatory.
• Knowledge of HV/MV/LV distribution systems and IEC/IEEE standards.
• Ability to develop ETAP models and interpret results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed ETAP models for HV, MV and LV networks.
• Perform Load Flow and Short Circuit studies under various conditions.
• Conduct protection coordination and arc flash/harmonics analysis.
• Assess transformer sizing, cable sizing, and voltage regulation.
• Prepare Power System Study Reports with findings and recommendations.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and commissioning teams.
