Job summary

ATS Global is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Malaysia to lead electrical and instrumentation design for data center control system solutions. You will work across multidisciplinary teams to define strategies, resources, and execution plans ensuring budget, scope, and timing are met.

Expertise in Industrial Automation, Data Center/Building Management Systems (BMS) is essential. You will collaborate with project managers and business development teams, supervise E&I design, installation,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or related field.
5–10 years of professional experience in engineering company or similar role.
7 years in Project Electrical Engineering with emphasis on instrumentation and electrical panels.
Current BEM Practicing Certificate or eligible to renew.
Registration with Board of Engineers Malaysia or professional certifications.
Experience with PLC and SCADA Programming.

Responsibilities

Interpret client electrical and instrumentation requirements.
Develop and manage ATS Malaysia E&I design standards and practices.
Ensure compliance with client and local regulations and standards.
Direct in E&I design, installation and commissioning activities.
Monitor and review design changes.
Review major engineering specifications.
Collaborate with automation teams to integrate electrical systems with AutoCAD, MATLAB, PLC, SCADA, and BMS platforms.
Provide technical guidance on electrical design, troubleshooting, and optimization.
