Job summary

Our client is a major healthcare organisation in Kuala Lumpur seeking a Senior BI Developer to shape data intelligence across a multi-site network. You will own enterprise Power BI development, work with clinical and corporate teams, and influence BI infrastructure at scale.

Responsibilities include designing dashboards, building DAX and semantic models, and managing the BI lifecycle from requirements to deployment. Collaboration across teams and leveraging Databricks/Azure tools are encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of BI experience with enterprise Power BI
• Advanced Power BI skills: DAX, Power Query, data modelling
• Strong SQL and large dataset handling
• Proven track record delivering enterprise dashboards from requirements to deployment
• Experience with ETL/ELT and data integration

Our client is a major healthcare organisation operating a large network of hospitals across Malaysia. As a Senior BI Developer based in Kuala Lumpur, you'll help build and evolve the data and business intelligence infrastructure that supports clinical and operational decision-making at scale - in a permanent role with real breadth and impact.

Few BI roles offer this breadth. You'll own enterprise-level Power BI development, work closely with clinical and corporate teams, and play a key role in how a large, complex healthcare organisation uses data to drive better patient outcomes and performance.

The Role

Delivering scalable, high-impact BI and data solutions across a large, multi-site healthcare network.

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards, KPIs, and visualisations for corporate and hospital stakeholders
• Build and optimise DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and semantic models
• Manage the full BI development lifecycle - from requirements gathering through to deployment and maintenance
• Support the development of scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes across the organisation
• Develop capability in Databricks AI/BI to support future BI platform transitions

What We're Looking For

A hands-on BI developer with enterprise Power BI expertise and a genuine passion for turning complex data into clear, actionable insights.

• 5+ years of relevant experience, with a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Advanced Power BI skills - DAX, Power Query, data modelling, and performance optimisation
• Strong SQL proficiency and ability to work confidently with large, complex datasets
• Proven track record building enterprise-level dashboards from requirements through to deployment
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT, data integration, and enterprise data platforms
• Familiarity with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure Data Factory would be a strong advantage
