Job summary

UUE-Holdings Berhad is seeking a Plumbing & Water Treatment Technical Manager in Johor Bahru with nationwide site responsibilities. You will lead a technical team, oversee planning, ensure project quality, and contribute hands-on on-site to deliver projects efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in engineering and project management, with a strong background in plumbing, piping and water treatment systems, plus relevant licenses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on engineering and project management.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
• Possess Professional Licenses such as Certified/Master Plumber credentials or local Water Treatment Operator certifications.
• Experience in plumbing, piping, or water/wastewater treatment plants.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or technical lead role.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, prepare material take-offs, cost estimates and budgets for tendering and client approval.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs and project budgets for mechanical and electrical works.
• Evaluate quotations; advise on cost competitiveness for tender submissions.
• Monitor costs vs budget; track material usage, labour and expenses to avoid overspending.
• Lead on-site plumbing installation, pipe jointing, water filtration, pump/motor installation and testing.
• Prepare technical reports, as-built drawings, operation manuals and maintenance guidelines.
