Job summary

UUE Holdings Berhad seeks a Plumbing & Water Treatment Technical Manager to lead on-site installation, manage cost estimates, and coordinate with suppliers for large-scale projects in Malaysia.

The role involves reviewing drawings, preparing BOQs and P&IDs, and managing budgets while ensuring safety compliance and timely delivery. You will supervise technical staff and optimize designs for value, with nationwide travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on engineering and project management experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs.
• Experience with cost estimation, BOQ, and tender submissions.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and prepare material take-offs, cost estimates and budgets.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQ and project budgets for mechanical and electrical works.
• Analyze costs and optimize designs for best value.
• Monitor costs vs. budget; track material usage and expenses.
• Prepare variation orders and final cost reconciliation.
• Lead on-site plumbing installation and testing activities.
• Calibrate and maintain water treatment equipment.
• Supervise staff and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for timely delivery.
