Uue Holdings is seeking an experienced Plumbing & Water Treatment Technical Manager to lead our technical team. You will supervise on-site plumbing works, design reviews, cost estimation and project budgeting to deliver complex water treatment projects efficiently.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, prepare material take-offs, cost estimates and budgets for tendering and client approval.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQ and budgets for mechanical and electrical works.
• Evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations and advise on cost competitiveness.
• Lead on-site plumbing installation, pipe jointing, filtration and pump installations.
• Calibrate and maintain water filtration systems and related equipment.
• Monitor costs vs budget and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Plumbing & Water Treatment Technical Manager

We are looking for an experienced technical professional with solid expertise in plumbing works, piping systems and water treatment solutions to lead our technical team. You will oversee overall technical planning, ensure project quality, and be hands‑on to perform on‑site work alongside your team to deliver projects efficiently.

Job Responsibilities :

• Review drawings, prepare accurate material take-offs, cost estimates and budget proposals for tendering and client approval.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, material take-offs and pricing schedules.
• Evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations; advise on cost competitiveness for tender submissions.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bill of quantities (BOQ) and project budgets for mechanical and electrical works.
• Analyze material, labour, equipment and subcontractor costs; optimize designs for best value.
• Monitor actual costs vs budget throughout projects; track material usage, labour and expenses to avoid overspending.
• Prepare variation order cost justifications and final project cost reconciliation.
• Review technical proposals for plumbing, water supply & drainage, filtration and water treatment systems.
• Develop Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), hydraulic profiles, and plumbing layouts.
• Estimate material, equipment, and labor needs for project viability for resource forecasting.
• Recommend cost‑effective materials/methods without compromising quality; evaluate quotes from suppliers/subcontractors.
• Work directly on‑site to lead plumbing installation, pipe jointing, water filtration, pump/motor installation, pressure testing, leak detection and related works.
• Calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain water filtration systems, purification units, pumps, motors and associated equipment.
• Resolve complex technical issues on‑site immediately to minimize project delays.
• Supervise, guide and train technical staff and site workers on proper work procedures, safety practices and technical updates.
• Monitor work progress, inspect work quality and ensure all works comply with local regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders to align technical requirements and resolve queries for smooth project delivery.
• Supervise team, ensure compliance with safety/industry standards; prepare as‑built docs and final cost reports.
• Enforce permit‑to‑work systems for confined space entry and chemical handling (if any).
• Prepare technical reports, as-built drawings, operation manuals and maintenance guidelines.
• Evaluate new materials, technologies and methods to improve work efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.

Requirements :

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on engineering and project management.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
• Possess Professional Licenses such as Certified/Master Plumber credentials or local Water Treatment Operator certifications (such as certified competency for sewage/water treatment plants).
• Experience in plumbing, piping, or water/wastewater treatment plants.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or technical lead role.
• Familiar with local material pricing and construction costs.
• Proven experience in project costing and estimation.
• Able to work hands‑on sites, operate test equipment and solve complex technical problems independently.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings, route plans and technical specifications.
• Familiar with local utility coordination procedures and guidelines.
• Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to travel nationwide for site visits and project supervision.
• Possess a valid Class B or higher driving license is an added advantage.
