Job summary

Themetech International in Kedah is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale infrastructure projects in Malaysia. You will oversee commercial and technical bidding, plan the project team, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery on site.

Qualifications

Active involvement in PLC Programming in current role.
Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Industrial/Mechanical) or equivalent.
Technical management, quality management, project management, budget control training.
8+ years in site project management.
Familiar with project management tools.
Involved in large-scale project execution and management with client communication.
Excellent organization, coordination, project management and communication.
Proactive, adaptable to change, responsible and integrity.
High work enthusiasm and strong professional ethics.
Good attitude and resilience under stress.
Knowledge in HMI/SCADA programming, sensors, drives and control panel wiring; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Participate in project bidding from commercial & technical aspects; perform site surveys as required.
Participate in contract signing; understand project scope, workload, and drawings.
Plan and organize project team for execution.
Manage project considering safety, quality, schedule, budget, resources & subcontractors; coordinate with client, main-con and other on-site teams.
Periodically report project progress to supervisor and request resources as needed.
Develop Project Execution Plan, Project Setup, Closeout and Change Orders based on scope.
Set milestones and decompose targets into tasks to ensure on-time progress.
Manage costing and progress claims; monitor expenses and payments per contract terms.
Strengthen subcontractor management to meet safety, quality, and progress requirements.
Arrange manpower and evaluate team performance; organize drawing verification and design-change proposals.
Collect all original approved documents for design changes for acceptance at final project.
Maintain relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders; handle additional tasks as assigned.
Complete additional tasks as directed by superiors.
