Job summary

Sibelco Malaysia Sdn Bhd invites applications for the Manager Operations at the Tapah plant. You will oversee production, mining, maintenance, logistics, health, safety and sustainability, leading the plant team to hit financial and operational targets while complying with policies and legal requirements.

You will work with senior management to shape short- and long-term goals, manage budgets, drive continuous improvement, implement Lean and efficiency, and develop talent.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience in mining, mineral processing, manufacturing or chemical sectors.
• Experience leading plant operations and teams with P&L responsibility advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Solid financial and business acumen with budgeting and forecasting exposure.
• Excellent communication and change-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Take accountability for plant financial performance and manage costs within budgets.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and monitor financial/operational metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance plant performance and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
• Provide plant-level input to strategy and manage inventory and CAPEX.
• Lead, coach and develop the operations team and manage stakeholder relationships.
