Kanry Search is seeking a General Manager – Manufacturing Operations in Penang, Malaysia. You will lead end-to-end plant operations, drive operational excellence, optimize production, and ensure quality and on-time delivery in a high-volume environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of manufacturing operations experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management position.
• Proven track record in end-to-end plant operations and continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of production optimization and KPI management.
• Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S and process improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, quality, planning, and supply chain.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, capacity, and plant performance.
• Lead daily production activities to meet targets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Manage planning, manpower, machinery utilization, material availability, and resources.
• Monitor OEE, output, downtime, rejection rates, and on-time delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S to reduce waste.
• Oversee maintenance strategies and equipment reliability to minimize downtime.
• Manage budgets and OPEX/CAPEX to improve profitability.
• Develop and mentor production managers and cross-functional teams.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with ISO and safety/environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with senior management on expansion, automation, and long-term improvements.
