Job summary

Brooks Automation in Malaysia (Pasir Gudang, Johor) invites a Planning Manager to lead Production and Materials Planning, aligning demand with supply to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing, optimized inventory, and on-time customer delivery. You will own MPS, capacity planning, and cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, and Quality teams.

The role emphasizes ERP discipline, planning analytics, and continuous improvement within a world-class planning function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, or related field.
• 10–12 years in supply chain, planning, or manufacturing ops with at least 5 years in leadership.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor capital equipment or electronics manufacturing preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SIOP, MRP, inventory mgmt, and capacity planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Production and Materials Planning teams; set KPIs.
• Own Master Production Schedule and capacity plans.
• Manage material availability, safety stock, and replenishment.
• Support NPI, site transfers, and production ramps.
• Drive ERP/MRP data quality and planning dashboards.
• Escalate and communicate supply-demand risks to leadership.
