Job summary

Brooks Automation Malaysia is seeking a Planning Manager to lead Production and Materials Planning across the site in Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru. You will own the Master Production Schedule, balance demand with capacity, manage inventories, and drive continuous improvement within the planning function.

The role collaborates with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Program Management, and Global Planning teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Experience in semiconductor capital equipment, electronics manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Production Planning and Materials Planning teams.
• Establish planning KPIs, performance objectives, and succession plans.
• Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
• Coach and mentor planners to strengthen supply chain competencies.
• Own and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer commitments and revenue targets.
• Develop finite and infinite capacity plans to support growth and efficiency.
• Coordinate planning activities with Manufacturing, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Program Management and Global Planning teams.
• Drive best practices in Oracle ERP, MRP, Planning and Scheduling systems.
