Job summary

FBG Builder Sdn Bhd is seeking a Civil/Construction Planning professional to support ongoing projects in Malaysia. You will assist in developing the Master Work Programme (MWP), project plans and reporting, ensuring timelines and resources are aligned with project goals.

The role requires 5–6 years in project planning, risk management and budget monitoring, with proficiency in Ms Project, Primavera and MS Office. Strong communication with stakeholders and independent work style are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in project planning, reporting, risk management and budget monitoring.
• Familiarity with Ms Project, Primavera and MS Office.
• Experience in building/infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Self-starter, able to work independently with integrity.
• Engineering consultancy experience is advantageous for C&E Engineer position.

Responsibilities

• Assist Assistant Manager with construction work programme, organization chart, logistics planning, plant and manpower coordination.
• Track actual progress and monitor delays for potential slippages on ongoing projects.
• Prepare and coordinate Extension of Time (EoT) reports as required.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management.

Job Description:-

Assist Assistant Manager for on going construction project (e.g. construction work programme, organization chart, logistic planning, plant and machinery, man power as needed. Including the preparation and coordination of the development of the Master Work Programme (MWP) and construction project plans for assigned projects as required.

Assist in tracking actual work done and monitoring delays for potential slippages for ongoing project.

Assist in the preparation of Extension of Time (EoT) reports as required.

Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management.

Job Specification:-

Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent

Minimum 5 - 6 years of experience in project planning and reporting, risk management, budget monitoring, etc

Familiarity with Ms Project, Primavera software and MS Office (Excel).

Experience in handling building and infrastructure projects is an added advantages.

Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders.

Self-starter with the initiative to propose solutions.

Self- motivated person and able to work independently with integrity.

Previous experience working in engineering consultancy is advantageous for C&E Engineer position.
