Job summary

FBG Builder Sdn Bhd is seeking a Civil Engineer with strong project planning and reporting skills to assist the Assistant Manager on ongoing construction projects in Malaysia.

The role requires 5–6 years' experience in planning, risk management, budgeting, and familiarity with MS Project, Primavera, and MS Office; building and infra experience is advantageous; salary RM5k–7k.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–6 years’ experience in project planning, reporting, risk management, and budgeting.
• Familiar with MS Project, Primavera, and MS Office (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the Master Work Programme (MWP) and construction project plans.
• Track actual progress and monitor delays for potential slippage.
• Prepare Extension of Time (EoT) reports.
• Assist in other duties as instructed by management.

Job Description:

Assist Assistant Manager for on going construction project (e.g. construction work programme, organization chart, logistic planning, plant and machinery, man power as needed. Including the preparation and coordination of the development of the Master Work Programme (MWP) and construction project plans for assigned projects as required.

Assist in tracking actual work done and monitoring delays for potential slippages for ongoing project.

Assist in the preparation of Extension of Time (EoT) reports as required.

Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management.

Job Specification:

Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent

Minimum 5 - 6 years of experience in project planning and reporting, risk management, budget monitoring, etc

Familiarity with Ms Project, Primavera software and MS Office (Excel).

Experience in handling building and infrastructure projects is an added advantages.

Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with various stakeholders.

Self-starter with the initiative to propose solutions.

Self- motivated person and able to work independently with integrity.

Previous experience working in engineering consultancy is advantageous for C&E Engineer position.

Salary Range : RM 5,000 - RM 7,000
